Innovative and interactive trainings that equip young people with design-thinking and peacebuilding principles, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants learn how to identify and analyze real societal challenges, develop innovative and sustainable solutions, and transform their ideas into structured project proposals.
Through hands-on methodologies, participants gain practical skills in problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork. The trainings foster critical thinking, cross-cultural collaboration, and empower youth to take an active role in creating positive change within their communities.
The Peace Designer Training (PDT) has been continuously implemented for over four years across Kosova, North Macedonia, Albania, Serbia and beyond. Through this regional approach, the program brings together young people from diverse backgrounds, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and dialogue. As part of the training, participants work in teams to develop concrete project ideas addressing real challenges in their communities. Selected projects are further presented at the S!NERGY Assembly, where they gain visibility and opportunities for implementation, turning ideas into real and sustainable impact.
S!NERGY Assembly is a dynamic regional and international platform that brings together young leaders, changemakers, and decision-makers to foster dialogue, collaboration, and innovation. The Assembly serves as a space where ideas, perspectives, and solutions are exchanged, promoting peacebuilding, intercultural understanding, and sustainable development.
Through interactive sessions, discussions, and project presentations, participants engage in meaningful dialogue, strengthen their leadership capacities, and build cross-border partnerships that contribute to long-term impact in their communities and beyond.
As the final stage of the Peace Designer Training (PDT), the S!NERGY Assembly provides a platform for participants to present their project ideas developed during the training. Projects are evaluated based on innovation, impact, and feasibility, with selected initiatives receiving support for implementation. The Assembly brings together participants from across the Western Balkans and beyond, creating a unique environment for regional cooperation, youth empowerment, and the transformation of ideas into real and sustainable action.
Sports for Social Change is a dynamic youth exchange program implemented over the past two years between young people from Kosovo and Finland, in partnership with Helsinki YMCA. The program uses sport as a tool to promote inclusion, teamwork, and social impact, bringing together participants through interactive trainings, collaborative activities, and community-based initiatives.
Through a combination of non-formal education and practical engagement, participants develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, while learning how to use sports as a platform for fostering social change and community engagement.
The program began with a youth exchange in Prishtina, Kosova, where participants from Finland joined local youth for a two-day training, followed by the organization of two public events led by the participants themselves, one dedicated to children and another open to all age groups. These activities transformed learning into real community action. The exchange continued in Helsinki, Finland, where participants from Kosova took part in a week-long program focused on cultural exchange and personal development. Activities included a cultural night, city exploration, outdoor camps, and interactive games designed to strengthen teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills. In the following year, the collaboration continued with additional exchanges in Kosovo, including further trainings and public events. Finnish participants also joined the Balkan International Youth Summit for Peace 2025, further strengthening the partnership and expanding the program’s long-term impact.
The Youth Democracy and Digital Advocacy Program (YDDAP) is an Erasmus+ youth exchange program designed to strengthen youth participation in democratic processes and promote social inclusion across Europe. The program equips young people with a deep understanding of democratic values, civic engagement, and the role of youth in decision-making processes.
Through a combination of interactive workshops, group discussions, and experiential learning, participants explore topics such as democracy, good governance, intercultural dialogue, and social accountability. At the same time, they develop practical skills in digital advocacy, learning how to use social media and online platforms strategically to promote democratic values and raise awareness on key societal issues.
Implemented as a week-long international exchange in Vienna, Austria, the program followed a structured learning journey combining non-formal education, intercultural learning, and hands-on practice. Participants progressed from understanding the foundations of democracy and civic participation, to exploring real challenges in their countries, and finally to designing their own digital advocacy campaigns. As a final outcome, participants developed concrete digital advocacy campaigns, including clear objectives, target audiences, and communication strategies. These initiatives were further supported through a three-month mentoring phase, ensuring that ideas move beyond the training and are implemented in participants’ local communities with sustainable impact.
